The following are the six steps to follow when you want to check your UAE visa status online using a passport.
Step 1: Visit the Federal authority for identity, citizenship, customs, and port security website.
The first step you will take is to visit the Federal authority for identity, citizenship, customs, and port security link. The link will display the following page for you to enter your details in the fields provided.
Step 2: Select Passport Information on the Search Option.
To keep it easy and simple you will select passport information in this step. Selecting File no. will make the process a little bit more complex which we are trying to avoid here.
Step 3: Select the UAE Visa type
In step three you will select either residence or visa option depending on your visa status. For instance, if you are on a visit visa you will select visa type, and if you are on a residence(you have a valid Emirates ID) you will select residence.
Step 4: Enter your passport number and expiry date
At this step, you will enter your passport number and its expiry date. And then move on to the next step.
Step 5: Select your nationality
In this step, you will select your nationality from the dropdown menu. After pressing your nationality, the left box beside it will be filled automatically with a special number. So don’t worry about it.
Step 6: Confirm you are not a robot
In the 6th and last step, you will confirm you are not a robot by checking in the capture box before pressing the search button. After pressing the search button your visa details will be displayed along with the expiry date.
